Make blogging easy

Perhaps the fastest growing hobby today is blogging. For a surprisingly low investment, you can share your thoughts, feelings, and opinions, and those writings can instantly be shared with people around the world.

But what software to use? If you choose to host your own blog, there are many packages to choose from. One possible choice is WordPress, which is arguably the most popular blogging platform in the world.

It is free, and it is well-supported. Not only that, but thanks to many hobbyists who give of their time and skills, “plug-ins” are available, which offer extended features, such as the ability to play videos inside your blog, and the ability to offer a list of related posts.

Most importantly, WordPress is easy to use, and with it, you can easily create pages and individual posts. One neat feature that WordPress offers is the ability to be a Content Management System, and through that, you can run a standalone website. Or, of course, you can run a traditional blog.

However you choose to configure WordPress, it is a snap to set up and even easier to use, leaving more time for you to happily blog away.
